FAQs

Do Tox & Fillers show results immediately?

Neurotoxins can begin reducing muscle movement within 24 hours, with full results visible at around 2 weeks. Dermal fillers provide immediate enhancement, but like neurotoxins, the final, settled results are best appreciated after a few weeks.

What is the Down time with treatment?

Both Botox and dermal fillers involve minimal downtime. Following Botox treatment, small bumps may appear at the injection sites but typically resolve within 20-30 minutes. Dermal fillers may cause temporary swelling, redness, or mild bruising, which generally subsides within a few days. Most patients are able to resume normal daily activities immediately after treatment.

How long do Neurotoxins and filler last?

Neurotoxins typically last 3-6 months, though results can vary depending on factors such as your metabolism, treatment consistency, and the number of units used. Dermal fillers generally last around a year, with some effects lasting even longer. Since fillers are made of hyaluronic acid-a substance naturally found in the body-they work to restore volume and enhance your body's own supply for a refreshed, natural look.

What are the long-term effects of tox and fillers?

Neurotoxins help to promote smoother, more youthful-appearing skin, and a reduction of new wrinkles and lines from forming. Fillers help to provide natural-appearing volume in places of the face where some patients may lack. With consistent treatment of both tox and fillers and proper skin care, your skin will appear more refreshed and rejuvenated in years to come.

What should I do/avoid before & after treatment?

Before treatment, avoid alcohol, blood-thinning medications or supplements, tanning, and facials for 24-48 hours, and arrive with clean skin. After Botox, stay upright for 4-6 hours and avoid rubbing the area, strenuous exercise, alcohol, or heat for 24 hours. After fillers, avoid touching or massaging the area, exercise, alcohol, and heat for 24 hours, and try to sleep on your back the first night. Mild swelling or bruising is normal and should resolve within a few days, with results settling in one to two weeks.
